Nora is...well, different. She doesn't fit in, and she doesn't hang out with people which makes her a perfect target. It's hard to make friend's when you're a bull's eye for every practical joke in school-other people avoid her, just out of self-preservation. Nora is lonely; so lonely, she invents a friend named Indigo. Everything changes, as life does when you have a real friend, and for the first time Nora is Happy. Until people start noticing that Nora is talking to herself, lots of people, lots of people, including the school counsellor Mr. Little.
