It's the summer of 1948, and Lady Florence Andering-Ffyffe is entertaining her old friends the Millsbys. But as they arrive a body is found in the delphiniums. Will Detective Inspector Volper be able to solve the case before too many more people die? With the help of Mrs. Millsby, he struggles to find the killer as more lives are lost and everyone has secrets to hide.
