Carla Mackenzie is a first timer to the CentreStage theatre. She brings to the stage some singing experience gained from various choirs and musical production, but the footwork you will see is newly learned. Residing with her husband and son in Greenwich, Carla is more used to entertaining the four-footed creatures in her habitat, but welcomes the chance to expand her horizon in entertaining the humans of Kentville and the surrounding area.

This is only Bob Melanson's second appearance in a CentreStage Theatre production but he's no stranger to performing. He's been playing in bands since age of 10 and currently takes the stage as a part time member of Halifax band Skully. Outside the theatre Bob has spent the last 13 years as a dialogue editor, working on anything from This Hour Has 22 Minutes and Trailer Park Boys to children's favourites Animal Mechanicals and s

Mindy is looking forward to working with such a great cast & crew, and is really looking forward to the dinner theatre event as it is so much fun, and is really really not looking forward to having to miss out on such an amazing dinner because she can't eat before singing. Her dear hubby would like her to sing more and eat less anyway so he's quite keen for the show to get here.

Throughout her years in theatre Davina Melanson has been involved in many productions as a cast member, music member, musical director and director. This included has full scale musicals such as Oklahoma, the Music man, Guys and Dolls, Cotton Patch Gospel and Godspell. More recently she has also lent her directing talents to one of the local schools as a director for the production of Stone Soup. Davina Melanson is pleased to be returning in the dinner theatre event with the Glooscap Curling club. Last year she was able to offer her talents as a member of the Temeprance socity as well as being the musical director. This year she is delighted again to be working with some very talented people in the No Frills review .

Once again, Bob Cook will neglect his duties as Spa Guy and join in the fun at Gloosecap Curling Club and CentreStage Theatre's Annual Fundraiser festivities. Laugh, dance and sing along (there is a bar, right?)

No Frills Revue will be Sarah's first appearance with CenterStage. She is a new resident of Kentville, and graduated from Acadia University in 2010. Sarah has studied voice for 9 years and her musical theatre experience includes lead roles in Copacabana, A Chorus Line and Cats.

Sharon Churchill Roe has been involved in CentreStage Theatre for nearly two decades. She was last seen as "The Girl" in The Fantasticks. Past favourite roles include Sylvia (Sylvia), Sister Robert Anne (Nuncrackers, Meshuggah Nuns, and Nunsense Jamboree), Elizabeth (Pride and Prejudice), and Sarah Brown (Guys and Dolls).

Brian Cottam is back for his fifth time on stage in a CentreStage Theatre production, whether you want him or not. This time his musical abilities will be put to the test which will put him a little out of his element but he says he is looking forward to the challenge. Brian has always had a knack for performing and loves his live theatre roles more than any other. Brian would like to thank all of you for coming to see the show and hopes you have an enjoyable evening of laughter and entertainment and please leave your tomatoes at home.

Mary Sponagle is happy to be back at CentreStage in the No Frills Revue. Her other CentreStage credits include last season's Temperance in a Tea Cup and No Sex Please, We're British. She is very honoured to be working with such a fun and talented cast. Mary lives in the Kentville area with her husband, Gaye and their dog, Ginger. She loves being Amma to Kate and Will. She would like to thank her family and friends for their support and encouragement. She hopes you will enjoy the "No Frills" but entertaining "Revue"
