Layered Landscapes

American painter Andrew Wyeth once said, “I dream a lot. I do more painting when I'm not painting. It's in the subconscious.” Like Mr. Wyeth, I dream a lot as well. I have an endless portfolio of unseen creations stored in my memory.

I "paint" with photos. Each image is made up of several layers (often up to 25 layers!). I use photos of people, places and things and layer them with textures, light and colour.

I graduated in Graphic Design at the Nova Scotia Community College and earned a BA in Sociology from Dalhousie University. I am married to Stephen, mother to Jude and loyal owner of the sometimes obedient Sammy.
